Pond5 is required to collect tax on all sales where applicable.
US Customers:
How much tax you pay will vary depending on the licensing details provided at checkout. We display the amount of tax to be collected before you complete the purchase. Local tax will be displayed on the purchase confirmation page. No charges will be made until you choose to complete the purchase. Some US customers may be exempt from paying tax–please see below for more details.
Customers outside the US:
Tax will be collected based on your country’s rate. We determine this based on the licensing information on file, including your address and specific payment details. If you are a business, it is important to always provide your tax ID so we can properly assess Value Added Tax (VAT) or Goods and Services Tax (GST). If you are not a business, you can find more information on your local tax obligations below. If you are tax-exempt based on your organization, please contact our support team and we’ll be happy to assist you.
