Confused about purchasing

Hello.  My purchasing arrangement seems to not be working correctly.  Maybe I'm doing it wrong. 

5 of the 6 times now I've clicked the download button on the view screen after a search.  I believe 3 of those times I somehow purchased my content rather than getting a comp.  What am I doing wrong.? tof the 6, The first two were small images so I wrote it off as no big deal.  However I just downloaded 4 videos and 2 of the 4 were applied against my membership.  As far as I can tell I didn't do anything different between the 4.  They were downloaded in rapid succession.

The clients have not approved anything so I fear this is going to be the purchase of something I don't need.

    Hello Jess, 

    Please know that clicking the blue Download tab on the item description page of a Membership Collection item, will automatically download the file as one of your membership downloads. Please see the below screenshot, for clarification.

    • The Yellow arrow points to where you click to download a low resolution preview, not actually using up one of your free downloads.
    • The Red arrow points to where you click when you wish to proceed with downloading a membership item (using one of your free downloads).

    Great.  Thanks.  I understand clearly now.  For a blockhead like me you might adjust it a bit on your next set of page updates.  Unless I'm the only blockhead to do this......Don't answer that.  ;-)
