how about a site that works on touch devices?

Seguir

The pond5 website is unusable on a touch website (phone, tablet) because of the extensive use of mouse hover.

Try opening clicking the "view as full page" link on a collection, in the drawer at the bottom of the screen, on an ipad, it's impossible.

I find it hard to understand how a Premiere plugin was developed before something as basic as a mobile friendly site (not even mobile specific - just one that works on a touch device).

For example, it would be great if you could see your collections as links within your account homelage somewhere, and open them in another page.

That's a pretty quick fix and would make the site actually usable on a tablet.

I agree that P5 is overlooking this growing method of browsing the web. On an iPad, the site is basically usable, but on an iPhone, it's not user friendly at all. And on an iPhone, the forum is virtually unusable.

I don't have any specific details to share, but I wanted to let everyone know that we are working on a much more mobile friendly version of the site. It's commin'. :)

Cheers. Actually I take back what I said about the Premiere plugin - I just installed it and it's really fantastic. So ignore that part of my rant!
