sometimes we set up too much keywords and the editing system is a slowlyness nightmare. So - at our risk, I perfectly understand - you could create an automated "cutting tool" to erase all the keywords exceeding the 50 limit. But what keywords to cut? You could give for granted (and let contributors know it) that the FIRST keywords are most important. A simple button "erase exceeding kwywords" or an option in the user-profile preferences could be a good thing. All this work locked down is not good :(
