I know this was discussed many times over, but I would like to know the status of this request - to be able to update the underneath audio file, while keeping it the same entry, the stats and the info.

There's no way for you to do this on your own, but you can with our help! First, upload the new version of the file and include a note for the curators explaining that you are replacing something that is already on-line. This will speed up your curation. Then, when the new item is live, write to support@pond5.com and give us both the old and new clipIDs. We'll transfer all the sales/views/etc stats over to the new item, then delete the old one. :)
