Editorial Watermark

S’abonner

I'm sorry if this has already been mentioned, but I was wondering if you could add the word "Editorial" to the visual watermarks on editorial use only video footage.  I can't tell you how many times I've presented projects to clients and gotten approval just to notice later that the video was "editorial only" and have to find a different shot and start the approval process all over again.  (I edit together nationally broadcast TV commercials)  I know it's stated as the license, and I know that there is a check box to filter them out when searching, but it'd be nice for there to be an obvious indication, perhaps a special watermark on the shots.  iStock does this by just putting the word "editorial" into there watermarks.  Just a thought, love Pond5 and have no other complaints, you guys rock!

    Hey Ben,

We appreciate your feedback, thank you! It is unlikely that this will be incorporated into the watermark anytime soon, but we will pass your information along to the team.

Incase you didn't know, the Editorial Use disclaimer can be found on all editorial content pre purchase. If a file is for editorial use only, this is clear;y stated in the file description, as shown in the attached screenshot.

An example is this clip here --> https://www.pond5.com/stock-footage/49086940/russiamoscow-2012-crowd-people-standing-pedestrian-crossroad.html
