Most of our media sold on Pond5 (including video, music, sound effects, and more) is covered with unlimited distribution. However, we also offer a selection of high-quality news and archival video clips that are covered under specific distribution agreements. These agreements specify the channel that can be used to display the content you purchase and the number of times you can use the asset.
Where can I find this content?
“All Media” and “Digital Only” licenses are sold only on editorial clips by Reuters and British Movietone. You can use the News & Archival filter on the Footage search page to find clips by these artists, as well as other creators of news and archival content.
You can also check out their artist pages here:
Here’s an example of a clip with the “All Media” and “Digital Only” license options. If you click on the tooltip next to “License Options” you can find more information about the licenses:
What are the terms?
Both of these license options are only available for Single Project use, meaning you can only use them in one production. Depending on the option you choose, you can either use the content only in Digital productions, or you can use it in a broader range of distribution channels by selecting the “All Media” option. Read more about this in our Content License Agreement or feel free to contact our Creative Partners at firstname.lastname@example.org or +1(855) 410-6789 and they’ll be happy to assist with any questions you may have!
Is this content eligible for additional download use or legal coverage (indemnity)? Why can’t I buy Business or Premium licenses with this content?
Yes! These clips are still eligible for additional download use or indemnity. If you’d like to purchase these benefits through our Business or Premium licenses or discuss a Custom agreement, our Creative Partners can help! Contact us at email@example.com or +1 (855) 410-6789 and we’ll be happy to assist you.
